For years people asked me, "Pauly, why aren't you a professional writer?"  Truth be told, I was too busy living life to find the time to write.

More recently, four friends of mine begged me to begin a blog... in part because I live such an interesting life... in part because I am a great writer... but mostly because they knew how much everyone would enjoy reading about me.

In creating this site, I have avoided all the mistakes that millions of other people make.  First of all, I have provided everyone with some basic personal and philosophical information about me.  Because I am a great writer, incredible entertainer, and live an exciting life, there is still a lot about me that people do not know and will be thoroughly entertained to find out. (e.g. I love 4C Raspberry Iced Tea and have a cool wooden spoon that I use to make it)  Secondly, I live an entertaining and exciting life and I focus on that and do not spew opinions about politics or current events. 

Thirdly, I do not gush on and on about celebrities.  I'm sure Minnie Driver thinks I'm awesome.  Unfortunately for her she's Total Minnie, so I'm not interested.  If Minnie wants to e-mail me, then I won't stop her... but I won't be writing about it if she does because what do I care?  Lastly, I tell all of the exciting details of my life... I don't hold back.

I expect there will be jealous people who while recognize my talents and abilities and while being totally entertained will still, due to their voracious envy, make it a point of forming a confederacy against me.  Jonathan Swift said it best though, "When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in the confederacy against him."
